End The June Holidays On A High Note This Week With Kakee Day Out And Other Kid-Friendly Activities

Can you believe that the June school holidays are almost over? Fret not: You and your kids can still enjoy family fun during this last week before they go back to class.

If you're wondering where to start, why not take your kids to Kakee Day Out?

Taking place at Plaza Singapura from 26 to 29 June, the four-day event celebrates the official launch of local entertainment and lifestyle app Kakee (formerly known as CAMOKAKIS).

Kakee Day Out features activities and games based on the app's four key features. Namely:

• Listen: 24/7 DJs and music streams
• Watch: Original video content under Kakee Originals and Kakee On The Move
• Play: Games that you can enjoy on the go
• Lobangs: The app's rewards hub, where you can win exciting prizes and take part in events and contests

You can look forward to lively showcases featuring DJs from POWER 98 and 88.3JIA, performances by the Music & Drama Company, and appearances by cast members from Kakee Originals and Kakee On The Move.

It's time to get active at the Summer Sports Spectacular at Kallang Wave Mall.

Taking place at the mall's atrium, this festival invites your kids to join the fun at Sunny Side Arena with 7 interactive zones that put a new twist on classic sports, such as a basketball station where you dunk scoops of ice cream, or a mini-golf course where you use everything except golf clubs to putt.

4. Movies by the Beach: Family Fest

Head to Palawan Kidz City for free screenings of family-friendly movies under the stars.

This weekend, the line-up includes both classics (Spy Kids and Shrek) and newer movies (Cinderella (2015) and Coco). In addition, there will be other fun fringe activities that your kids can look forward to, such as yard games, craft booths, and even a free popcorn and cotton candy live station (while stocks last).

Do note that while entry is free with no pre-booking required, craft booth activities are $3/session.
