What To Do This Weekend (15 to 17 Jul)
Ready for the weekend? Here's what you can look forward to this week.
1. National Day Istana Open House
In celebration of National Day, the Istana will once again be open to all visitors this Sunday. In addition, for the first time since the pandemic, live performances and activity booths will resume at the Istana Open House (IOH).
You can look forward to a series of onsite guided tours throughout the day, from tours of the Istana Main Building to nature tours of the enhanced Japanese Garden and the Inclusive Garden on the Istana's grounds. Do note that while entry to IOH is free for all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, guided tours require registration onsite and have fees that will be collected on the spot.
There will also be other onsite activities such as band and dance performances by student groups from local secondary schools, sports activities, traditional and carnival games, craft activities, balloon sculpting, and much more. Be sure to check out the merchandise booths selling limited-edition Istana and President's Challenge souvenirs and memorabilia.
Only cashless payments via PayNow will be accepted for all tour fees and merchandise purchases. All proceeds will go towards charities supported by the President's Challenge.

Celebrating the best of Eastside neighbourhoods, this colourful exhibition features vibrant replicas of places like an old-school barber shop, the iconic watermelon playground in Tampines, and Pulau Ubin's jetty, spotlighting the 8 districts of Changi Precinct and the rich stories that make each of them unique.
