1. AFA Creators Super Fest 2024

Calling all anime fans: AFA Creators Super Fest (AFA CSF) is back this weekend at Singapore Expo Hall 3!

Styling itself as a community-focused festival that brings together established creators to exchange insights, share experiences and inspire budding creators, AFA CSF boasts a diverse range of activities and programmes to delight anime fans.

Highlights include appearances by renowned guest illustrators, informative talk shows, live drawing sessions, cosplay competitions, live music and dance performances, and much, much more.

This year, there will also be a new Fashion zone featuring wearable crafts, accessories and apparel inspired by Japanese culture and crafted by creators from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and more.

Be sure to also check out the ever-popular Creators Hub, where you can snag quality merchandise and unique artworks by talented creators and artists.

2. Istana Open House

The Istana opens its doors this Sunday for this year's National Day Istana Open House (IOH).

You can look forward to guided tours of the Istana main building and grounds, National Day-themed performances by schools, community groups, and young local talents, engaging communal sports like floor curling, bean bag toss, mini table-tennis, as well as art activities such as candle making, paper quilling and Nagomi Art painting.

Be sure to also check out the merchandise booths selling limited-edition Istana and President's Challenge souvenirs and memorabilia.

All proceeds from the entrance into the Istana grounds, tours and the President's Challenge merchandise booth will go towards charities supported by the President's Challenge.

Only cashless payments via Credit/Debit Card and/or QR Code will be accepted.

3. The Prata Festival

If you're a prata lover, this is the festival for you. This weekend, The Semma Bistro invites you to indulge in various types of free flow prata, along with different combinations of gravies.

Tickets start at $15 for children aged 10 and below, or $22 for free flow prata with 1 drink. You can also upgrade your ticket for free flow drinks or even free flow beer.

4. Sprint Fest 2024

Head to Palawan Green at Sentosa for a 4-day celebration of thrilling racing action, gastronomic delights, and electrifying music.

You can look forward to Auto Gymkhana races, classic car meets, and drift demos, as well as family-friendly activities like magic performances, stage games, race simulators, arcade games, and even a mini racetrack.
