10 Things To Do In Singapore: 5 to 12 June
With the June school holidays in full swing, you can easily find something for the young ones. But for those who want something a little different from the usual thing, well, there's that too. Here's what you can check out in the days ahead...

i Light Singapore 2026
Why you should go: You get to see the city in, uh, a different light! The annual festival, with its delightful light art and activities, is set to transform Marina Bay and Raffles Place into an Instaworthy spectacle this June. This year’s theme is "Movement", all aptly conveyed by the 14 light art installations created by 17 artists from Singapore and around the world.

Sesame Street Magical Art World
Why you should go: Because you want somewhere to take the young ones during the school hols – and besides, who doesn’t like Sesame Street? This internationally acclaimed exhibition makes its Southeast Asia debut and transforms Marina Square’s Atrium into an artistic installation. Featuring mega-paintings and six Sesame Street-inspired inflatable sculptures created by internationally renowned artists, there are also activities to keep your kids busy, from mini golf to art activities. It’s great for kids play, great for parents to snap pics of their kids playing. And you can grab exclusive merch while you’re at it.

Live Manga
Why you should go: From energetic dance performances to interactive call-and-response moments with hilarious pantomime that’s simple and physical, Japanese pantomime comedy duo Gabez turn manga into live action right in front of your eyes. Catch their free show before it's too late.

Valentino Beauty House Party
Why you should go: It’s Valentino, that’s why. To mark Born in Roma Purple Melancholia, Valentino Beauty is hosting its “House Party” experience in Singapore with “retro broadcast textures, lived-in details, music, fragrance and beauty moments”. Aka you get to see some cool Valentino offerings, plus, enjoy cool beats courtesy of DJ sets by L0yb0y, Ayano, Shye (yes, that Shye) on 6 June, and Beans and Beats, Chael En and Ballisticone on 13 June. Doki! Doki! Anime Market
Why you should go: Because you love anime! From Bocchi The Rock to Yu-Gi-Oh!, Doki! Doki! Anime Market, a homegrown artist-first anime convention, will feature more than 220 independent artist booths and an all-new dedicated live stage, where anime fans can catch Camden Sutkowski, the voice actor behind Aventurine from the popular sci-fi RPG Honkai: Star Rail.

Feathers & Fanfare!
Why you should go: Held in conjunction with the exhibition, Peacock Power: Beauty and Symbolism Across Cultures, this festival promises a vibrant line-up of performances, talks, workshops, storytelling sessions and family-friendly activities that everyone can enjoy. Plus, you get to learn why we value the peacock so much. Oh, and admission to the exhibition and most festival programmes is free.

Into the Ocean: Journey Beneath
Why you should go: If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the watery world around us, you should see this. With interactive activities and specially designed sections, this experience by OceanX – which makes its world premiere here – takes you into the deep, darkest regions of our planet that you've never seen before. Makes for a great family outing.

Jinx Comedy @ Harry's
Why you should go: Jinx Yeo is probably one of the best comedians the Lion City has produced. With his deadpan delivery, this award-winning comedian has made waves not only here but internationally as well. And for this show, he’s hand-picked a few supporting acts plus a bonus mystery guest (clue: they came in 1st runner-up at the New Zealand International Magicians competition). So if you're looking for a fun night of laughs, this is it.

K-pop Trivia Night
