For an Italian-style feast, belly up to Acque e Farina where chef-owners Antonio Manetto and Roberto Galbiati are serving special holiday dishes like cotechino e lenticchie ($30). Traditionally enjoyed in Milan during the festive season, it comprises succulent pork sausages and braised lentils served in puff pastry.

Naturally, there’s pasta too, in the form of tortelli di carni al Parmigiano ($40, stuffed with braised wagyu cheeks and swathed in a Parmesan sauce) and linguine all’aragosta ($58) featuring lobster sautéed in olive oil, garlic and white wine in a lobster-spiked tomato sauce.

Bedrock Bar & Grill

Bedrock Bar & Grill's Steak Grazing Platter ($499) is a feast after our own hearts. What’s better than a heaving board of rib-sticking meats and sides designed to be shared between up to five people? The platter includes 250g USDA Prime tenderloin, 250g citrus-fed wagyu striploin, 300g Australian grass-fed ribeye, 300g Mangalica pork tomahawk, grilled asparagus, mac and cheese, and Bedrock’s apple crumble. It comes with a bottle of Bedrock x Brothers in Arms No. 6 2019 Shiraz Cabernet to help you wash it all down in the merriest of spirits. Available till 5 Jan 2025.

Bottega di Carna

Of course there’ll be plenty of meat for the holidays at Bottega di Carna, fronted by the famed butcher of Panzano, Dario Cecchini. At lunch, expect to feel the Italian spirit in classics like burrata with fresh figs, prosciutto and truffle mascarpone before noshing on beef cheeks braised in Barolo or seafood spaghetti al cartoccio.

At dinner, enjoy Hokkaido scallops, beef battuta with black truffle, tagliatelle with duck leg ragu, and 48-hour braised short ribs with chimichurri. Prices start from $42 for two courses at lunch and $68 for two courses at dinner. Available till 31 Dec.

If you’re looking to celebrate with a view, check out Cook & Brew's three-course Festive Set Lunch ($68, from 25 Nov to 31 Dec, weekdays only). Highlights include a vegetarian cauliflower and fennel soup and duck vol-au-vent for appetisers, as well as “Butter of God” (smoked bone marrow with flamed tenderloin), monkfish roulade, and pan-seared chicken breast.

The festive season brings outlet-exclusive menus at The Marmalade Pantry. At its Novena and Downtown branches, a three-course Executive Festive Set Meal goes for $42 and serves up dishes like cauliflower soup, crab and squid ink spaghetti, ribeye steak, and pumpkin spice gateau. At Anchorpoint, two courses go for $25, with choices like tomato risotto, miso pancetta squid ink pasta, and crispy skin salmon. Add something sweet, like a cupcake for $4 or a slice of cake for $8.
